Today, Russell Warren announced that he has purchased certain assets of Brad and Debra Stovall and the Talco, Texas based SEI (Stovall Equipment, Inc.). Warren Truck & Trailer, LLC has been formed to operate this new facility. The address, (P.O. Box 425, Talco, Texas 75487-0425) phone and fax numbers (903) 379-3921, toll free (888) 734-4400 and fax (903) 379-4400) will remain the same as will many of the employees.
Warren will continue to build dump truck bodies and trailers at the Talco location along with the stocking, selling, and servicing of all other Warren products. These include the bulk feed bodies and trailers manufactured by Warren Manufacturing, Inc. in Birmingham, Alabama; steel and aluminum dump bodies and trailers, water tanks, hydraulic cylinders, dump hoists, agricultural and ice control spreaders and jockey fifth wheels manufactured by Warren, Inc. in Collins, Mississippi; and aluminum dump bodies and trailers as well as the E-Z Ride Suspensions manufactured by Warren Equipment, Inc. in Plant City, Florida.
Warren Truck & Trailer, LLC will develop a service department for the repair of most types of truck trailers and take on other lines of truck equipment at this location. Along with the manufacturing facilities listed above, Warren Truck Equipment, Inc. operates as a full line truck equipment sales, service, and repair facility in Columbia, S.C. and Bama Bodies, Inc. in Birmingham, Alabama. The addition of this location expands Warren’s ability to service the municipal and private sector, plus focus on the poultry industry with its feed hauling equipment, rendering trailers, and litter spreaders.
Warren intends to capitalize on the years of service given to the SEI customers from the Talco location while expanding the product offerings. Art Henderson, a long time SEI employee, will serve as General Manager of the new company and Shawn Findley, also a former SEI employee, will serve as the parts and service manager. The new company will open for business on Monday January 6, 2003.
